Busy busy busy busy busy.
Phew. At least the set's done, this'll totally free up my after-school time. Hahaha xD Past week has been compeltely hectic, and staying in school till past 7 ALONE is definitely not a good idea. (Everyone else had to go, and we were rushing) All the lights were off, and most of the doors were locked, it was so scary I'm so glad the sports centre is public and the floodlights were all on. Hahaha. Anyway, this is the outcome, please tell me it's suitable? xD For the
Sound of Music, the Von Trapp's house. Sorry for the lousy quality, taken with a phone!

HAHA the nazi backdrop is behind those windows, it's great. Anyway, those were painted on the stage itself so I got to listen in on rehearsals! xD It's
so good, thoroughly predictable but who doesn't
know the
Sound of Music? Haha, the singing's
amazing, and the guy who plays Rolf/however you spell his name is
so good hahaha ughhh. His voice I mean. And of course, Maria. I love the singing nuns they're brilliant. Only thing I don't like is that I think they're focusing too much on the singing, and the acting's too pretentious/wooden/otherwise, ewww.
The costumes are brilliant though.

First meeting/lesson last Wednesday, was good. Haha I realise I really like teaching. xD We played games, and had lots of fun and got to know each other and now they're well on their way to speaking Chinese! :) & it's great cos the age range is prefect, Y8s to J1s. Hahaha, it's gonna be
so much work and
so hard to continue like this, but we're determined, it's
so gonna get somewhere.
They weren't joking when they said there was absolutely
no slacking in L6. So many things to do every weekend, and every day's one of those busybusybusy-stop-at-own-peril days. Yesterday Chloe and I realised in the gym that since L6 started, we've all been in a rush, and there's hardly been any time to stop and just smell the flowers. Catch up with people, you know? We're all just caught up in work and our own lives and organising even more programmes so we can "lead more meaningful lives". Keep busy, because these are the best days of school. Haha oh sighhh. And no joke, I
will kill the next person who mentions, "Right girls there's this opportunity..blahblah... do it, it'll look good on your UCAS" There were (e.g. English/Maths mentoring for the lower school) so many things I wanted to apply for/join, until they said those words, and I was like, riiight i'm not doing it anymore. Annoying.
Anyway, I LOVE MY SEC1S xD 7F is brilliant, so enthusaistic, not like other sec1s who're all shy and quiet and stuff. Hahahah they've just elected their form captain/monitor, and yesterday in tutorial she was giving the class feedback on school council. But them, being excitable Y7s started shouting out of turn and things and then suddenly she was like "RIGHT SHUT UP BECAUSE I'M GONNA GET SO FRUSTRATED" and accidentally threw her pen at someone. I was like,
ohemgee, what? HAHA it was brilliant, cos straight after that she started laughing and so did everyone else. haha it's great. We've come up with a brilliant charity event (All forms organise charity events to raise money for their house charity. It's kind of like a house competition thing but not) and if we pull it off, it'll be
amazing. Also, cheerleading. It's so exciting, whether we combine forms or not. xD yay! Hahaha, can't wait for the school birthday, we're gonna have so much fun.
3 major events last week, along with the piles of work and everything else to organise and there you have it. I swear the older you get the more you're aware of how time's going. Like, I'll be doing something and think, "woah, an hour's gone?" or before, when there was something small to do I'd be like, "yeah..those won't take long let's just watch another episode of
One Tree Hill". Now it's like, "ok, that'll take 15 mintues. And that'll take 3 hours. Do the 3 hours piece, and fit the 15minutes somewhere. Oh wait, I need to send those emails. And that Chemistry test. And OMG THE MATHS ONE. And blahblahblah... Crap I need to write this down!!!" hahaha.
Interesting lessons to look forward to, though. Been assigned Leonard Cohen for general studies, should be interesting. And singing lessons are..gonna get better. Some guy who survived the holocaust came to speak to us in PSE last week as well. Best speaker we've had, including the Alcoholics Anonymous guy. Looking forward to what we have next week! As long as it isn't something about UCAS, unis, or volunteer work (for UCAS). CRB checks for Croft Centre better come through soon, and hopefully we'll be doing our Duke of Edinburgh awards in the Spring term! Plus, now we're planning (2 years in advance..shut up lah) for the crew to come over to Sg with me after As! We'll go to Malaysia and explore places and do things. It'll be the most amazing thing,
ever.
They say it all comes together around January, please let it be so.
